Over the past fifteen years, Embellie Advisory has built bridges between extractive companies, host governments, development organizations, and local communities. We design tailored solutions to foster cross-sectoral collaboration, build local capacity, and develop sustainable regulatory frameworks across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Since its inception, Embellie Advisory partnered with the Devonshire Initiative, a Canadian multistakeholder forum bringing together mining companies, development NGOs and academics to improve the development outcomes of extractive industry operations in host countries through cross-sectoral collaboration.
Our teams successfully implemented this initiative in several countries starting with Peru where we facilitated the development of multistakeholder partnerships towards the development of sustainable social license to operate for projects across the country.
The success of these initiatives can be traced to the development of structured, neutral dialogue platforms — roundtables, workshops, learning forums — to facilitate frank and confidential dialogue and foster the trust needed between participants to openly discuss challenges, lessons learned, and opportunities.
To support the inclusion of natural resources projects within local and national development strategies, we have developed a series of local content development initiatives. Our goal is to deliver high-impact, investment-ready solutions that enhance Local Content outcomes and reduce project development risks in the extractive industries across emerging markets.
Together with our local partners, we have implemented comprehensive innovative approaches, working in parallel with host governments and local operators in Mozambique, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Guyana, Ivory Coast, and more — supporting the alignment of national development objectives with private sector investment strategies.
